FAQ

Straight answers before you book.

Do you haul the mulch away?

The machine grinds brush in place and chips can stay as ground cover. We can also load some material into our gooseneck dump trailer and haul it off.

Will the blackberry come back?

The wall of canes will be gone. Himalayan blackberry crowns in the soil often resprout. A second light pass or spot spray the following year is normal, not a failure of the first job.

How wide an opening do you need?

A compact track loader or excavator plus trailer. A standard gate and a firm place to offload usually work. Tight gates, long walk-ins, and soft ground go in the high end of the range.

Can you work over a septic or drain field?

We stay off lids and known laterals. Tracks are lower ground pressure than a truck, but we will not grind on a field you have marked as off-limits. Flag it before we start.

Why is there a $1,200 minimum?

Loading the machine, the haul from Marysville, unloading, and packing up is most of a short job. The minimum covers mobilization within about an hour of Marysville plus a small residential lot.

Do you take trees?

Small alder, saplings, and brush, yes. Trees you want saved get flagged. For large trees we work with professional arborists we can recommend or contract with.

Are you licensed?

Yes. Vanguard Land Services LLC is licensed, bonded, and insured. Washington UBI 605-955-634.
